The song is a slow rockabilly lament sung Elvis-style

It opens with "I'm in a lonesome way"

The chorus is "I need love, I need love, I need love"

Any idea who does this song and it's name?

It's my understanding that Stephin Merritt performs the song "I'm In a Lonely Way" for the Volvo XC70 Crossover ad. He's the same person who also sings the Volvo song "The Wheels On the Car". I also read that it may be released soon on iTunes.

i want to know what hte song is, in that commercial where the lady jumps on a helicopter from a white yacht... "life is better lived with someone" or something is the tagline

The person singing the song sounds very much like Patrick Warburton. He was Elaine's boyfriend on Sienfeld and most recently is seen on "Rules of Engagement".
