That's a tough one - I don't remember the DVD menu screen music at all. Perhaps it was something taken from the film's soundtrack?

Do you mean "Sweet Jane" by the Cowboy Junkies? (You can hear a sample at the link - is that what was heard on the DVD menu?)

In the ending credits of the Good Girl, the very first song theyplay is a guitar score. I think that its just guitar and thats it, if anyone knows the name of it please reply.
