i've been seeing on tv this commercial promoting a casino called the river and in the commercial they play a song saying" take me to the river" does anyone know who sings the song and has anyone else seen it yet? thankyou :huh:

I haven't seen the ad but Talking Heads has a song called Take Me to the River.

The original "Take Me To The River" is by Al Green, Talking Heads and some other singers/bands/groups have covered it.

its not the talknig heads version i listened to it and it didn't sound the same as in the commercial <_<

update: they have their site link on the commercial http://www.twinriver.com/ and i went to it and they have the song playing on thier site. now to figure out who sings it.
