The store you heard it in ... was it a young person's clothing store (e.g. AE, Aeropostale, etc.), a big department store, or what?

Was it a guy/girl singing?

How would you describe the music style? Rock, techno, country, or what?

Did the song strike you as something new or perhaps an older tune?

Well, it was in Aeropostale, male singer, seemed older, rock. Similar in style to Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead Or Alive. Possible "surfer California" tune? Can't be sure.
