Paper Mate X-Tend Pen

This is the commercial where the airline stewardess tracks down the guy who borrowed her pen. If I recall correctly, it is raining outside when she arrives at his doorstep and asks for her pen back that he borrowed while on the plane. The song playing in the background is very doo-wop/Brian Wilson/oldies sounding with great harmonies. As a self-proclaimed music junkie, I still could not figure this one out.
Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure what it is... Although, in my opinion, since it sounds so generic, I tend to think it's an original composition for the commercial. I could be wrong, of course!
