It sounds similar to "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel...

...but that probably isn't it. Very likely MCJFTA (Music composed just for the ad)...

It does sound similar...I also thought its similar to "Let the River Run" by Carly Simon....

The Ad Agency that made this (N.W. Ayer & Son) was bought by some french company in 2002, so no luck there.

I remember that commercial.

AT&T really was predicting the future with these commercials too bad not many of them were brought to us by AT&T.

Funny to see Jenna Elfman on one of the commercials.

Anyways... I was looking up trivia for Zodiac on IMDB.

And I happen to read that David Fincher also directed the "You Will" ads.

So maybe that can help in your search?
