It's driving me crazy but I saw this commercial for the Animal Planet show World's Biggest and Baddest Bugs. The commercial has this great R&B song with the lyrics

"I don't care what people say, I'm going to love you anyway...
I'm your love child"

By the way, it's a woman who is singing the song, and no it's not Diana Ross love child song. lol.
This song has been stuck in my head and I would LOVE if someone could tell me who sings this song as well as the name of the song! Thank-You!

I heard that commerical too. It almost sounds like India Arie but I can't be certain. Hope this helps
