I've been really getting into 1600 Penn on NBC, I think it's really funny, some may disagree though. However I am wondering about the intro song to the show. Is it from some song, or is it an original made just for the show?

Some people are saying it is the song "Gathering Stories" by Jonsi http://youtu.be/8waxPo-tfG0 . It is close, but just isn't quite right, too slow.
Anybody have any thoughts?
