It's from Holst's THE PLANETS, not sure which movement, but if I recall it's "Jupiter".

    1996 Nissan "Dream Garage"

Re: Nissan ad from the late 80's early 90's Danny Elfman scored a series of commercials for Nissan around this time, I believe they featured an older Japanese man and a small dog.

    Star Trek

Re: Star Trek XI "War Begins" from CHILDREN OF DUNE had to be licensed because "Down With The Enterprise" was deemed too similiar. I believe an extended loop of "War Begins" was recorded in Los Angeles expressly for the STAR TREK trailer.

    Corpse Bride

Wow, okay, listen to sketchyrx, they're right. The first piano piece is called "Victor's Piano Solo", the second piano piece is called "The Piano Duet", both are original cues by Danny Elfman written for the film (and on the CORPSE BRIDE soundtrack album - buy it!). Also, they are not "songs"...

    Mr. and Mrs. Smith

It's from John Powell's original score for the film and is available on the Lakeshore Records score album (not the song album on the same label). The CD is available on Amazon.com and at was available on iTunes (not sure if it's still there). Ryan

    Apple Intel

I believe the song first appeared in Michael Mann's HEAT, during the climax. Effectively used in that instance. Ryan

    Nanny McPhee

Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops recorded an album called THE GREAT FANTASY ADVENTURE ALBUM years ago, and their version of "Prologue" from HOOK, which appeared on that album, was also used in the trailer for NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. This sounds like the same recording. Ryan

Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest

Zimmer actually wrote a significant part of the score, but contractually could not take credit because he was signed to score another movie at the time. Ryan
