    I've been looking for this music for a couple of days now. A lyrics search comes up with nothing so it could be commissioned or a song for release soon. I emailed Axe on Friday and they said they are looking into it for me so I'll let you know of any reply.

    I think what probably happened with this ad, like some others, is that the royalties were not sorted out before the ad was released. On a few occassions this has happened before and they get studio musicians in to record a similar version to the original song thus bypassing copyright.

    I just found some more info, the girl is Basement Jaxx vocalist Sharlene Hector and the song " I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free" was originally done by Nina Simone. (Source)

    In case you are wondering, the new one with the girl singing solo as she hands out Coke to passers by is "(I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be) Free/one" by The Lighthouse Family although they have changed the words a little.
