I heard a song in wal-mart, A male singer, slow song and it was the end of it. the lyrics were

I believe in looooooove......I believe in love

Then repeated. It sounded like and 80s song

Maybe Don Williams / I Believe In You

I don't believe in superstars,
Organic food and foreign cars.
I don't believe the price of gold;
The certainty of growing old.
That right is right and left is wrong,
That north and south can't get along.
That east is east and west is west.
And being first is always best.

But I believe in love.
I believe in babies.
I believe in Mom and Dad.
And I believe in you.

Well, I don't believe that heaven waits,
For only those who congregate.
I like to think of God as love:
He's down below, He's up above.
He's watching people everywhere.
He knows who does and doesn't care.
And I'm an ordinary man,
Sometimes I wonder who I am.

But I believe in love.
I believe in music.
I believe in magic.
And I believe in you.

Well, I know with all my certainty,
What's going on with you and me,
Is a good thing.
It's true, I believe in you.

I don't believe virginity,
Is as common as it used to be.
In working days and sleeping nights,
That black is black and white is white.
That Superman and Robin Hood,
Are still alive in Hollywood.
That gasoline's in short supply,
The rising cost of getting by.

But I believe in love.
I believe in old folks.
I believe in children.
I believe in you.

But I believe in love.
I believe in babies.
I believe in Mom and Dad.
And I believe in you.

No thats not it, its wasnt country more like pop-rock from the 80s. The chorus only said I believe in loooove i believe in love. Thanks for the suggestion though

How about "I Believe in Love" by Kenny Loggins? It has a lot of "I believe in love" lines in it.

no that songs a to new, it might not have said love but im pretty sure it did

One more shot. Maybe the word was "you" instead of "love". Perhaps it was "I Believe in You" by Neil Young. Older than the 80s, however, even if that's not it, you might enjoy it; great song. ;)

Good song but not it, needs to be more pop

It might be "God II" by U2 off the Rattle and hum album,,one of my favorite u2 songs, here are the lyrics

God Part II
Don't believe the devil - I don't believe his book
But the truth is not the same without the lies he made up
I don't believe in excess - success is to give
I don't believe in riches but you should see where I live
I - I believe in love

Don't believe in forced entry - I don't believe in rape
But every time she passes by wild thoughts escape
I don't believe in death row, skid row or the gangs
Don't believe in the Uzi - just went off in my hand
I - I believe in love

Don't believe in cocaine - I got a speedball in my hand
I could cut and crack you open - did you hear what I said?
Don't believe them when they tell me there ain't no cure
The rich stay healthy - the sick stay poor
I - I believe in love

I don't believe in Goldman - his type like a curse
Instant karma's gonna get him if I don't get him first
I don't believe that rock 'n' roll can really change the world
As it spins in revolution, baby, it spirals and turns
I - I believe in love

I don't believe in the sixties - the golden age of pop
You glorify the past when the future dries up
I heard a singer on the radio late last night
Says he's gonna kick the darkness till it bleeds daylight
I - I believe in love

I feel like I'm falling, like I'm spinning on a wheel
It always stops beside a name - a presence I can feel
I - I believe in love
