Hi there, I need some suggestions for some up-beat/fast paced music to work out to? I go to the gym a lot & am trying to compile a playlist of music specifically for working out.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. :)

Here are some samples from my gym workout playlist :)

Oakenfold - Faster Kill Pussycat
BT - Never Gonna Come Back Down
Richard 'Humpty' Vission - Somebody
Way Out West - Killa
The Crystal Method - Murder

And some older stuff that gets me moving too.....

Siouxsie and the Banshees - The Passenger
The Cure - The Walk
The The - Infected
Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again
Diana Ross - Upside Down

Good luck and have fun! :)

I'm a dance teacher and I use mixes all the time in my classes. Here's a couple of songs you might like to workout to:

Aerosmith - "Walk this way"
Katrina and the waves - "Walkin on sunshine"
Audiobody - "You gotta tap"
Baha Men - "Move it like this"
Basement Jaxx - Reall, anything by them is fun to workout to.
Big bad voodoo daddy - "Mambo swing"
Boney M - "Born to be alive"
Britney Spears - "Do Something" (Her only good song?)
C&C Music factory - "Gonna make you sweat"
Jamiroquai - "Canned heat"
Christina Aguilera - "Fighter" (Great for crunches!)
Cowboy Mouth - "Jenny Says"
Crazy Frog - "Axel F"
Daft Punk - Anything by them, if you like techno.
The Darkness - "I believe in a thing called love"
Donna Summer - "I feel love"
Fear Factory - "Cars"
Fischerspooner - "You're my disco"
Jack's Mannequin - "Dark Blue"
Janet Jackson - "Black cat"
JLo - "Get right"
Jimmy eat world - "Sweetness"
Justin Timberlake - "Rock your body"
Kelly Clarkson - "Just Walk away"
The Kinks - "You really got me"
The Knack - "My sharona"
MIA - "Galang"
Lyrics Born - "Callin' out" (If you don't mind a little cursing.)
Michael sembello - "She's a maniac" (Think "Flashdance".)
No Doubt - "It's my life"
Pat Benetar - "Heartbreaker"
Sugarhill gang - "Apache"
The Sweet - "ballroom blitz"
Will smith - "switch"

Uh, that should at least get you started. I tried to pick a lot of different genres so there should be at least a few songs you like. Good luck!

Rock on!! Thank you guys for all the awesome suggestions. I really appreciate it. :)

My favorite music! Drum and Bass is tight B)

Pendulum makes sum great drum and bass music, also i like listening to fatboy slim when i workout :eek:k:

Anything with a fast tempo will do fine in my opinion
