Hi!
This is my first post on this forum. I just discovered last weekend when I was searching for the performer on the MetLife Long-term care commercial -- the one with the grandfather getting his hair shampooed by his grandbabies. It's such a happy ad with catchy music.
Anyway, I read on this site that the music was Nina Simone's "My Baby Just Cares For Me." But it didn't sound like Nina Simone at all to me, so I sent e-mail to the MetLife site.
I just got back an answer:
"I am glad to hear you like our commercial! The original music in the
Shampoo spot was "My Baby just cares for me" by Nina Simone. However,
within the last year we changed the music. The new music is an original
composition and the singer is Gergory Clark. "
But now I can't find anything on the web about Gergory (Gregory?) Clark.
FYI, in case anybody's interested.
