Help with a song

Guys-

Help me out here.

I was out tonight with my girlfriend and a song came over the bar speakers. It was a mid- to late-90s and I remember the video. It showed the artist super-imposed over video images from Japanese anime.

It has lyrics like: "You need somebody to love" and something like "Being back in the arms of a good man".

Anyone? Can you help a brother out?
