hbo promo songs

looking for a couple of songs that are played on hbo while they're promoing various series and upcoming movies, etc. i found one: 'something in the air', it's by thunderclap, but has been covered by someone recently (band name???)... the other i'm not sure about. both are covers, i think, of old seventies songs and seem to be have been done recently, possibly by the same band. i saw these on sunday night.

any help?
