I've been looking for this too and saw that you had no luck. I checked around and found What the Folk! a fansite of Flight of the Conchords. They actually have the theme song from the show. It's called "All I Want Is An Umbrella In My Drink - Summer Mix 2007" by Flight of the Conchords. The website let's you play the clip but it's only 29 seconds and not a full length song. They're supposed to be releasing an album sometime in 2007, hopefully the full song is on it.
