Wasn't sure if this question should go here or under Video Game Trailers.
Has anyone seen this TV ad? It shows the POV of a shooter tearing up a room with an automatic weapon while lovely, happy opera/choral music plays over the top of it.

You're in luck!

The song is called 'Noi Siamo Zingarelle' (meaning 'We are young gypsies'), and it's from the opera La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi.

Commercial for the new PS2 videogame Black. Has opera/classical/choral music in the Italian style. The images are of a hotel/forum/room getting blown to bits.

Anyone know the song?

I think you will find that this is the version used in the ad:-
Verdi: La Traviata - Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra / Carlo Rizzi -- Rolando Villazon - Anna Netrebko - Thomas Hanpson
Deutsche Grammophon
Amazon :D

Yeah, but who plays the music? Is it a composer? Please let me know. Thanks!
If I had the answers to that I wouldn't have bothered linking to the ad  that was for the next guy who may not have the time or inclination to go looking for it.

Thanks Morphine & Energised!
