Classical Christmas Intrumental tune

hello people, wondered if i could find out on here of a tune i cannot find, (googling to death here!! It is one of the most popular classical christmas tunes they play on tv, mostly whilst advertising future programs that are coming on over xmas. It is a poweful tune that starts with violins and i think trumpets (or similar) come in to build it up. It is just intrumental. Any help well appreciated!, one person tells me bach, another tells me mozart or handel. Any ideas. Thanx.

this is just some blind guesses, but carol of the bells, deck the halls, o christmas tree, and nutcracker suite are pretty popular i think

Thanx for the reply. I found it at last!! It is called Troika by Sergei Prokofiev. Big xmas tune you'll know it straight away you play it.
