It is not Asobi Seksu's Layers that is used in the trailer of this film. I think a confusion has arisen a bit. Layers was used for the trailer of Treeless Mountain, created/directed by So Yong Kim, who happens to be the life partner of the creator/director of The Exploding Girl. Info is here...

    The Horse Boy

As for the first part of the trailer, that may be the score for the film. According to the site linked above, the film's score was a collaboration between Lili Haydn and Kim Caroll. The second part (after the mother says "Rowan's vision of Mongolia) is "That Home," also by The Cinematic Orchestra.

    Citibank: Scooter & PBS: Fishbowl

Hi. I'm hooked on the lot of commercials directed by Errol Morris and partly because he accompanies them with awesome music. Anyway, does anybody know the song playing in this particular commercial for Citibank (titled Scooter). Sorry, there are no lyrics, but here is the link to the commercial...

For the commercial, they just played Test Your Reflex's "Thinking of You." Sorry, this is off-topic, but if you wind up liking Bedroom Walls, I recommend "In Anticipation of Your Suicide."
