    CSI Season 8

Hey everyone. Does anyone know what the song is that's played on the previews for next week's CSI season premiere, "The Search for Sara Begins"? It's a slower song with a woman singing. Anyone? Thanks! Mike

    Saving Grace

Hey does anyone know the country-ish song played in the background during the tv spot for TNT's Saving Grace starring Holly Hunter? I don't think it's Amazing Grace, which was played during the preview following The Closer, I mean for the regular trailer. Thanks

    Beyond the Gates

Dario Marianelli wrote the score for this film - knows as Shooting Dogs internationally. Does anyone know if this is from his score or something else in the trailer? I hope to see the film in NYC soon, so I can at least find that out. If anyone knows anything, please post it. Thanks! Mike

Discovery Channel Deadliest Catch and I Shouldn't Be Alive

Here's a response I got from Cue11 music: Glad to hear you like our song. It was written and produced especially for The Discovery Channel. Composed by David D. Cebert. The singer is one of our studio singers, named AMANDA. She’s 18. So far, the song doesn’t have its’ own title (perhaps...

    The Beach

Someone else found it for me. It's from the song "Spinning Away" by Sugar Ray, but the cue in the film is a looped guitar solo from it, so that particular part is not on the cd.

    The Beach

I have listened to the soundtrack and I do not believe it is on there. The link you just agve me lists the soundtrack tracks and that's it. The end credits of the film list some additional music, but I have no idea which it could be, as the non-album tracks are listed after the others. I'm...

    The Beach

Ok, I know this is not a popular film, but there's a very short cue in Leonardo DiCaprio's film The Beach that I can't figure out. I DON'T remember it beign on the song soundtrack (which I can't find at the moment) and it's not on the score. It's a stacatto electric guitar cue that is played...

    V for Vendetta

Batman Begins is used once it says "From the creators of the Matrix trilogy." Mike

    The Legend of Zorro

No, it is not Pirates of the Caribbean. Soundtrack.net is correct. This music is from a music library and was no doubt written to SOUND very much like Pirates, but is actually not music from that film. Mike

The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

I'm not sure it is Black Beauty. It does sound like Elfman, but I cannot find the cue either. Also, the Atlantis cue is actually The Map from Treasure Planet, also by Newton Howard.

    Battlestar Galactica

I think this music comes from (or at least was also used in) a Discovery Channel special called "Megaquake" but I cannot find anything on even who wrote that, as imdb does not have a listing for that documentary... anyone? Mike

    Battlestar Galactica

There's a chance, but it's not. I've heard the music for the miniseries and the tv show, and its not it. I did hear what I think might be it in a Discovery Channel special called Megaquake, so I was looking for anyone who knew something about the music in that. Mike

    Battlestar Galactica

No, these trailers do not seem to be online. This music is used primarily for the "next on Battlestar Galactica" spots that follow each episode on the Sci Fi channel. Mike

    Battlestar Galactica

There's a violin solo cue used in all the tv spots for the Battlestar Galactica show on the sci fi channel. It's not from the mini-series or the show. I heard something very similar on a Discovery Channel special called Megaquake. Does anyone know who composed this or where it could be found? Thanks
