    Nissan Armada

Yay! I searched through the forums to see if this question was already asked since I saw the commercial for the first time today. I love Air, and was hoping I could field the question. Oh well. Either way, I saw Air live this April and they rocked. Talkie Walkie is a cool album.

    Concerts!

Yeah, I've been a longtime fan, too. A friend of mine gave me a copy of Showbiz a while back, and I really liked it but kind of forgot about them. Then another friend got way into them and brought me up to speed. I just bought Absolution yesterday, and it's a really great album. Almost every...

    Concerts!

Air is a French electronic group, and Muse is a British rock group. Air site (free MP3s): http://www.epitonic.com/artists/air.html Muse site (song samples): http://www.muse.mu/ Consider yourself educated. I agree with you about the smaller venues though. Both of these groups aren't too...

    Title Track for The Jackal

This might relate to DukeFan316's post. He wanted to find the original score for the film (although he didn't want to pay for it). Are there places where these are availible even if the score wasn't released with the soundtrack, or are score-hunters SOL?

    Concerts!

I had quite a good weekend, musicwise. I saw Air in Milwaukee on Thursday night, and Muse in Chicago on Friday. Both put on amazing shows. Anyone have any memorable concert moments?

    The Jackal

I know what he's talking about. It's the actual score of the movie; the CD you mentioned is just the music used alongside the score and some additional "inspired" songs. Did The Jackal have a CD with the score availible on it? If so, I couldn't find it at Amazon.

    Donnie Darko

I think you're talking about "Under the Milky Way Tonight" by The Church. Its the only song in the movie with bagpipes in it :)

    Dangerous Driving Music

Anything by Crystal Method... That can either make me sleepy (such comforting, pounding bass) or make me aggressive. I don't see either being good for driving.

New here and trying to find a song . . .

I had the Orbital song, but never listened to it before. (thanks networked college dorms!) It sounds familiar. Was this in the movie Hackers?

    Cartoon Sushi

I've been checking Amazon, iTunes... pretty much anywhere that would have music samples. I figured my best bet would be looking through the Ultra-Lounge series, but as far as I can tell, they don't have it.

    Cartoon Sushi

In a clip on an old Cartoon Sushi episode aired on MTV, (Neil Ishimine's "Smoking") there is a song playing in the background throughout the entire clip. According to the credits, it's being peformed by David Carroll and his Orchestra. There's no title information, although I've heard this...

    MTV commerical/Sunday Night Lineup.

I've been looking for this too, but didn't know how to describe it. :) Thanks. I hope someone can help. It's kind of a punk song with yelling in it, right?

    Pepsi Pop Culture

I dont think so... from what i can remember it was a girl singing... and it was kind of a rock cover ala the Rachel Leigh Cook led Josie and the Pussycats... I know i have it on an old VHS somewhere, but no luck so far...

    Old Navy Painters Pants

All I know is that this is a cover of an oldie by Frank Loesser. The lyrics were originally "standing on the corner watching all the girls go by" I'm not sure who covered it, but michelle turned me on to this site where you can find a whole bunch of info on song covers. Hope this helps!

    Pepsi Pop Culture

No luck on that song, but thanks for letting me know about that great site! It's already helped me find a lot of stuff I've wanted to know for a long time.

    MXC

Sorry. It stands for "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge" and is on Spike TV. It's a Japanese low-budget American Gladiators type show with funny voice overs. Thanks!

    MXC

Any info on the guitar music used in the opening titles of this show? Or any other music used in the show? Considering all of the video is "borrowed" from a Japanese game show, it makes sense that the music would be someone else's too. Thanks!

    Pepsi Pop Culture

A few years ago when pepsi had their pop culture bottle cap contest, they had a commercial where a girl and a guy clicked over bottle caps. Not very likely, but the cover of Rod Stewart's Some Guys Have All The Luck was pretty cool. Anyone know who did it? Thanks!
