    Subtle differences...the version off the Pretty in Pink Soundtrack is missing a guitar or something...it sounds a little milder than the original. Again, it's sublte, but there is a difference.

    Microsoft Commercial

    That song is "At the Edge" by Johnathan Elias from the "American River" album...unfortunately there's no acoustic version like the one on the Microsoft commericials. The one on the album is the piano and fiddle version...still a great piece of music.
