Nice to see a quality band like The Weepies getting some exposure from this commercial. If you like this track make sure to check out their "Say I Am You" album. Good stuff.

So is everybody stumped on the name of that song? And I'm not talking about the AC/DC version. Maybe this was one of those songs produced by an agency that is not available anywhere?

No. it's definitely not the AC/DC song. There are a couple of different versions of that commercial. The music on the one that I'm referring to is much more mellow. It almost sounds like an Explosions in the Sky song but I'm pretty sure it's not them.

The timing isn't quite right (the commercial I'm thinking of was out about a year ago), but it sounds like you're looking for 'That Right Ain't Shit' by The Books. That song was featured on a Hummer commercial. The commercial showed Hummers being assembled in a factory.

There is another version of this commercial featuring different music. There are no lyrics, just a guitar. The music is pretty mellow and the guitar sounds like a slide guitar. The commercial features families, kids, and racecar drivers joking around. Does anyone know what song this is?

Ugh, Cat Power has done this before - recording a special version of a cover just for the commercial. They did the same thing with Hangin' on the Telephone on the Cingular commercial. http://www.sambisbee.com/cingular/

Thanks for posting the info on that Ray Lamontagne song. I knew I had heard it before but I was having trouble placing it.

    Acura TL Satellite Link

Elias Arts is the same organization that did the music for the Nike "Magnet" commercial featuring Lance Armstrong. They should sell their music commercially!

Here are some more details: It opens with various shots of a red arrow in different locations, above a beach house, above a bowling alley, above a gas station, etc. At the end of the commercial a male voice says: "It knows over 7 million points of interest, and now, so do you...". The music is...
