We Can Solve It climate crisis wecansolveit.org

Gee, that didn't take as long as i thought it would. I discovered that a professional music company called Black Iris made the commercial that starts with the storming of beaches on D-Day. Anyway, if you are looking back at that main page for Black Iris and you click on the "Library" folder...

Craft in America "Simple Gifts" PBS

Craft in America "Simple Gifts" PBS I was watching "Craft in America" on PBS again recently, and I thought that the theme song "Simple Gifts" (and old shaker tune) was the one sung by Judy Collins. Now I'm not so sure. And I apologize for being too lazy to hunt this down myself, by you guys are...

I haven't watched the commercial yet but one of my favorite versions is "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone from the Verve Remixed collection. Hope it helps.

So You Think You Can Dance Season 3

Just for the record, and to assist any who are interested, they show the song and band at the beginning of every dance. But if you decide you like the song and you need the info, FOX has pages devoted to the show. In the "RECAPS" section you can find info about the dancers, the dances, and the...

    John from Cincinnatti

I haven't confirmed this yet, but I think the song is "Feeling Good" by Muse. The show uses music well to its advantage and I wish they'd acknowledge the songs and bands on the official website to increase awareness for the obscure-ish bands.

    Celebrity voice-overs in commercials

If you mean the current ones with a male voice, I believe it is the same voice that narrates "Frontline" on PBS- Will Lyman. He has an awesome voice! But in a way, its sad really. He has that kind of voice you trust (probably from all that Frontline work) and now he's selling stuff. *sigh*

    Phillips

When I watched the commercial on youtube, I thought "Hey! I'll bet thats Ursula 1000!" So I played through my only cd by them, "The Now Sound Of Ursual 1000" and even though the sound and "feel" are somewhat close, it was not them. The only reason I thought I'd share this is because I thought...

    Fosamax

I did a quick search but turned up nothing. There is a commercial (been on for a while) in which they promote "Fosamax" for women (I think it strengthens bones). In the background is a song that songs vaguely Natalie Merchant with some roots-ey violin. Lots of "Na da da, na da dad da..."...

    Diet Coke

If it is the same music that plays in the background of a Coca-Cola commercial (where a guy dances getting dressed with the red socks) then it is probably "I Like The Way You Move" by Bodyrockers. I don't remember seeing it in an iTunes/iPod commercial tho. But Apple usually has the commercials...
