    Well, I can tell you with a great deal of confidence that it's not from Super Mario Bros 2. Just listened to it and all I can find is composing credits for No Doubt. Perhaps they wrote it to make it sound like an old NES game.

    Not sure if this will help, but "Doki Doki Panic" is the Japanese game that was modified to turn into Super Mario Brothers 2 for the NES back in the day.... ...which incidentally, was a Wednesday.....fun fact for you there....take it home....chew on it for a while

    Did you mean 3:40? 'Cause there's no hat throwin' goin' on at 5:40. And I think the music is simply orchestrated ambiant music created specifically for this over budgeted stink bomb. That's just my guess though.

    Sorry to have to correct you, but the song is called "Trust" and it's available on the Prince album "Batman". The song "Partyman" is on there too, but that song plays when the Joker and his goons vandalize the museum. "GENTLEMEN!! Let's broaden our minds! Lawrence....." :P
