Hi, everyone.

I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the music played throughout the "Prayers for Bobby" trailer/preview?

One is also available on the Lifetime website.

I'm not sure if it was moving to me because of the story or because of the music, but nonetheless I'm intrigued. Anybody have any leads?

Figured it out.

It's called "My Name is Lincoln" and is from the soundtrack to "The Island" by Steve Jablonsky.

By the way, Shazam for iPhone is possibly the most helpful tool on the face of the planet... especially for the purposes of this website.

There is another commercial for "Prayers for Bobby"....there is a female singing in it. I want to say Cat Power...but I'm probably totally wrong. What song is that, I wonder?

It is called "Hope for the Hopeless", and it is by "A Fine Frenzy".

the song "my name is Lincoln" and the movie "Prayers for Bobby" is absolutely amazing - Sigourney Weaver she's such a great actress - when you want cry - watch the movie and listen to the music
