Glenfiddich Scotch

Have been looking for this too. So far this post is the only menton I have found. No website mentions it, it's not on file sharing, not on other tv ad music sites, no results with known keywords eg. brock savage, glenfiddich, commercial song music etc... Went ahead and emailed Glenfiddich, will see if they ever reply.

Would love to have this jam. Kinda James Brown, Bootsie Collins, Stevie Ray blend.

Figures. Reply from Glenfiddich was to contact their parent company, William Grant & Sons. Amazing how the simplest curiosity can take so much time...

Well... What's one more email?

just posted this same question on a site called "AD Rag"...can't believe there is NOTHING online re: this awesome soul music.

Bump... I want this tune. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Nice. Spent some time tracking through that lead, came upon some awesome hammond organ tunes, swam through the acid jazz for a few laps, but no answer to this mystery.

This ad came on last night as I was crossing the room with a beer, started doing my old school james brown moves.

oh bye the way, the glenfiddich commercial comes on comedy central all the time

if anyone catches any of the lyrics...let me know

apparently glenfiddich has an independent label that represents new/newer artists in the uk and samples songs on their commercials to get their names out...a lot of them don't have albums out yet...so there is a likely possibility that whomever that song is by might not have an album yet

ok here are the lyrics for this funky ass song

Ohh! Oh yeah come on with it, let me see what you got, give it to me, ha ha, show me funky, let me tell you something, we came here to to get down, its been a while but we’re back in town. Don’t hold back just do it with soul.

"Sho 'nuff funky! We came here just to get down (horn riff), been a while, but
we're back in town (horn riff)."

Breakestra
'Don't Need a Dance'

Huzzah! A thousand blessings on your house, dude. Now I can reclaim that little chunk of my brain that had been endlessly looping that damned unknown song!

I just bought me summa dat... gonna break myself. YEOW! HAAAAAIII!!

Thanks again, all good things come to those who wait.
