Trying to track down this song I heard in J crew today in NYC. It was a brit rock-esque sound ala Placebo, but without the searing guitars...leaning towards Cure-like. Must be a new band b/c I am a master 80's new wave and 90's brit pop fanatic and I'm familar with all of those bands.
The lead singer was male and had a warbly, lilting quality...kind of like Brian Molko's. Could not descern any lyrics whatsoever.
In case J crew is playing thier music on a loop, the song in question was followed by cold play.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
