i heard a song on my cousin's ipod but she cant figure out who im talking about *oy*

his voice is similar to David Gray's but i dont think its him, its a slow song

i want to say the lyrics when something like this

"turn around the end is here/near"

there is a part of the song where the music cuts out and he is still singing then the music comes back and he continues singing.

i was woke up halfway through it so i dont have much to go on
