There was a song at the end of a hair commercial ad, and the lyrics were "If you could read my mind, you would find how I can t deny... you-ouuu"
Googling the lyrics obviously comes up with the false lead of Gordon Lightfoot's hit. Its definitely not that. I've also seen suggestions of Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield, but that is not it either.

It aired in Canada around 2008-2009.
I can almost hear them saying the brand name but the memory is just out of reach.
I do remember there being a French version of the ad on YouTube at some point (lyrics were still English, voice-over was french).
