The latest Head & Shoulders TV commercial features background music that's inspired by a late 80s-1990 rock instrumental song. That song itself sounds as if it were inspired by the mid Sixties rock songs such as LIAR, LIAR by the Castaways.Does anyone know of that instrumental rock title which seems to be used for that commercial?

That's the commercial! The background music reminds me of a certain rock instrumental song which was released around 1990 and which sounded as if it was strongly inspired by the mid Sixties-era garage rock bands.
