Hi Everyone!

I'm trying to think the title of a film where, in one scene, the music (played on the piano) consists of a slow tempo, repeating pattern of four notes (in 4/4 time, ascending in pitch), except the second to last note is somewhat out of tune/dissonant. The bass line is descending, slow, sustained whole notes (also played on the piano). For the music people out there, the solfege syllables are:
DO-Re-Mi (out of tune/dissonant)-Sol.

If I had to guess who composed the score, I'd say: Alexandre Desplat or Phillip Glass, but I've searched IMDB for the films they've scored, and none of the titles ring a bell.

I'm fairly certain the scene was sad/somber, due to the melancholy tone of the cue.

Any ideas? Let me know!!
