I know this is a longshot. Cotton Patch Cafe is a restaurant chain that is in Texas and New Mexico - they run a TV commercial on the cable channels during the 'local spot' for CNN/CNBC/Fox News.

It's some sort of well known orchestral music, but I can't place it. Don't see it on their website or on the video sites. Thought I would take a chance and see if someone knew what I was talking about....

And they wrote me back today! Turns out it is something they did internally based off of Carmina Burana: O Fortuna. That's why it was familiar but not exactly it.
 
The orchestral piece (along with chorus) that I hear on the cotton patch commercial is Beethoven's Ode To Joy.

Would anyone happen to know the music being played in the current Cotton Patch commercial. Sounds classical or "chorale".

I contacted the Cotton Patch home office. They advised that the music was created for the commercial, and was made to sound similar to "Carmina Burana" (O Fortuna).
