Does anyone know the name of, or source of, the piano music theme used throughout the documentary "Forever James Dean" (1988). I know I have heard it before but can not place it. Would be appreciative.

Thanks

doctormemory, thanks for responding.

In the segment you link to the piece appears very briefly as snippets at 2:19 & 6:39.

For a bit longer piece, check out segment #3 of the documentary here:

It's a sweeping piano piece and begins at about 5:00 and lasts for about 48 seconds.

I have recently seen East of Eden and Rebel Without a Cause and I'm sure it doesn't come from those to pictures. I haven't rewatched Giant yet but I don't think it's not from that. Nevertheless, I know I have heard it before. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

"Whisper of a Thrill by Thomas Newman"

No.

"Acompaname A Estar Solo by Ricardo Aronja"

No. Too new. It would have to be a piece performed before 1988 when the documentary came out.

"...composed by Leonard Rosenman"

No, as I said I have seen both Eden and Rebel just recently, and reviewed the soundtracks on iTunes, and the piece I'm looking for is not from there.

Thanks for the ideas though.
