Hey all, I'm looking for the name of the classical music piece used in the commercial for espn's the greatest game ever played about the 1958 NFL championship game. I think the music might be from a film score. Thanks.

The 1st song in the clip sounds like something by:

Chuck Berry. Sounds like a mix between his songs; Johnny B. Goode & Roll Over Beethoven.

The 2nd song in the clip sounds like something by:

Jerry Goldsmith on the Rudy soundtrack
.

Try:

Track # 8 "Take Us Out"

Get It At Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000014TQ/?tag=adtunes-20

I'm not sure about the 3rd song which sounds like a jazz genre.

Or the 4th song which is a classical song like song # 2; either.

It's the 2nd song in the promo that we're referring to. And although it sounds relatively similar, it's not "Take Us Out" from Rudy.

I've heard this piece before elsewhere... i just can't put my finger on it though. It's driving me crazy.

Re: ESPN/PA Renaissance Faire Commercial Music

Does anyone know what is the name of the music?

Definitely want to know where that music comes from - also heard it the other day in a promo for the Military Channel's Navy Month - it definitely has a pirate movie feel to it, but I cant match it to any pirate movies....

Re: ESPN/PA Renaissance Faire Commercial Music

What's the music being played for espn's The Greatest Game Ever Played promo?(music starts at around the 0:47 mark):

http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=3742270&categoryid=null

It was also used for the Brickyard 400 promo this year by espn.

And finally, the same music was used in the PA Renaissance Faire commercial (last one where it says "Click here to view "30-Second" Faire Commercial"):
