UPS Goes Postal

New TV commercials for the UPS Whiteboard campaign feature "Such Great Heights" (iTunes) by The Postal Service off their album Get Up. What makes this puzzling is that The Postal Service band has always been associated with (UPS rival) the United States Postal Service, both in name and cross promotion with the U.S. government letter carrier. (You can even buy a CD of The Postal Service single at the USPS online store.) The band's music has been featured in several television commercials in the past, and they are no stranger to controversy, but this pairing with UPS does seem a bit off. (via Pitchfork) B000089CJI
