I am looking for early 90s dance music, it has a definate sound. There are alot of keyboard sounding beats, with the hooks sung by high pitched ladies...some examples are:

Good Vibrations - Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch
Strike it Up - Black Box
River of the Night - Corona

sometimes they are classified as "Jock Jams"...i guess i just like their sound. if anyone has any ideas for other ones like them, help me out. thanks.

C&C Music Factory -

"Gonna Make You Sweat" (Everybody Dance Now), "Here We Go", "Things That Make You Go Mmm"

Snap - I've Got the Power
La Bouche - Be My Lover
Get Ready for This - 2 Unlimited

I found this excellent "Guide to Electronic Music" a while ago, and you should check it out:

You can find the genre you are currently seeking by going to "House" and clicking on "Vocal" in the "90's" blob. The writer (Ishkur) calls this genre "Vocal House aka Diva Hosue"
