Hey! I'm fairly new to the site. I found it about 6 months ago but just lurked, never signed up as a registered user. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!!

Welcome.

"Lurked" means to lie in wait ready to ambush. As in to prowl or creep or loiter.
Lets find more positive synonyms like "hung out" or simply "wait".

GOD has blessed the righteous and not the creepy.

Irony :p

Lurker also means : to exist unperceived or unsuspected.

Did anyone here suspect FairyFreak's existence in Adtunes forums? Words have more than one meaning you know. :p

Yes, true.....but since I see the word "Lurked" in the Intro.....silly me just assumed that the usage of the word was creepy. SILLY ME! How crazy am I?!?!
How interesting that someone saying "I lurked about..." could have a possitive meaning. Love Adtunes....FOREVER!

Actually......in internet and/or website terminology a lurker is one who visits a site without participating. This is common practice for people who wish to get a feel for a place before joining in and is encouraged behavior on many sites. ;)

Maybe I look at words from a detective's point of view. Lurk to me sounds evil and negative. Sorry.
