British Children's Song

I've heard a British children's song about a cat, though I can't make out the hook because of their thick accents. I know it includes these exact lyrics: he hasn't got a name so we call him puss, he prance around the neighborhood, he ain't no wuss, but late in the evening when it's cold and dark and wet, he comes and snuggles up to me the perfect pet.

If anyone has the foggiest idea what this is I would really appreciate it.

No one has any ideas? Oh well, it is a pretty obscure request.
