Would anyone happen to know what song was played on Las Vegas ep 107, "Pros and Cons," when Shelley comes out of the pool? Any help would be great.

Thanks

hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me fgure out the song thats been being played during the Las Vegas commercial for the next episode. It's always the same one. Starts like this. " Baby its cold outside and Ive got nobody to love... Its getting harder and harder to breath.. blah blah, something like that. If someone could help me that would be awesome, thankyou.

Can anybody tell me the name & artist of the blues song about voodoo that played during on of the scenes on Las Vegas Season 1 Episode 116 NEW ORLEANS 9/8pm 2/16/04. I'm thinking Robert Cray, but I’m not sure. Thanks in advance.

I don't watch the show, so here's a shot in the dark:

"Deja Voodoo" by Kenny Wayne Shepherd -- he's kind of a blues-rock guitar artist. (there's an audio sample of the song in the link.) Regardless, that album is really good, by the way. ;)

In the last episode of Las Vegas there was a song that had a “Dean Martin” Swing kinda sound. I know that’s not much to go on, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Name of episode: You Can Take It With You (#117)

Did the song have any lyrics?

Nevermind, I think the song you're after is called "Sway" by Dean Martin. (Link goes to audio sample available at Amazon.)

Michelle, You rock!

Dean Martin did the original version, and recently remade by a group called the Lost Prophets. <_< Sorry, the remake was done by Michael Buble, not Lost Prophets... Same song just a little more up beat. check it out if you get the chance.

Thanks for the help.

Apologies if this has already been asked, but "Las Vegas" is currently screening on Australian networks at the moment, and I'm interested in locating the theme music, as it has a decent beat and melody.

However, the theme music that's listed on all U.S. fan sites and discussion forums list "A Little Less Conversation (JXL Radio Edit)" by Elvis as being the theme track.

Having watched about 5 or 6 episodes of Vegas so far, I can definitely state that the theme music that I'm listening to on the show is not "A Little Less Conversation" (as I'm still reeling from the endless radio airtime that song got when it was first released  )

From what I can gather, the lyrics I can hear all seem to be about gambling, making searches difficult to get results on. The lyrics I can discern are a young female soloist singing "...gonna do this one more time...roll the dice, and let it ride... " and it pretty much repeats itself over a dance beat.

Does anyone know about any alternate themes to the show, or if this has just been done downunder for potential copyright reasons or something?

Would appreciate anything anyone can turn up.

Thanks!

Main title theme -- Billy Strange, Scott Davis

(I do remember it used to be listed as the Elvis remix, so maybe they've changed the song to the same one you're referring to...)

Thanks for the info, Michelle. A quick "google" on the two names revealed they've been credited there because they were the co-writers on "A Little Less Conversation". Oh, well, I'll keep looking!

aah... that's lame!

Hmm... I really can't say for sure, cause like I said earlier, I don't watch the show... But it looks like the Elvis song is still the theme over here -- Wonder why they'd change it for Australia, if that's the case? Does that happen often?

The only time I recall something similar on a program is for the DVD release of CSI: Season One. Apparently, there was a legal issue with securing the rights to broadcast "Who Are You?" as the theme track, and as such, all episodes in the box set use a different theme by John Keane, the composer for the series. The end credits for each episode still reference "Who Are You?" as the title track though.

Really? That's so bizarre!

Regarding the song in question... I haven't been able to get anything in lyric searches.

We have a few occasional Australian readers, so maybe one of them, or someone else, will recognize the music...

Didn't want to start a new post since this one already existed....
I had a question about music in this same episode of Las Vegas (1.17 - You Can't Take It With You). During the cold open of this episode (before the credits), there is really cool song playing in the background. I have tried doing lyric searches, but I don't think I am hearing the lyrics correctly because they are so soft underneath the ambient casino noises. If anyone can remember this episode I would love some help! Thanks!

There's also a great remix of Dean's Sway on the Electric Lounge cd(volume 01). You should check it out.

>K.

nope, wasn't "Come Fly with me"..it featured a female vocal track. I will dig out my DVD of the episode and see if I can make a guess at some of the lyrics.

The lyrics that I get from it sound like......

(Are you?) for a look in the eye
roll the dice and let it ride

Gonna do this one more time
hit me again and let it ride

Are you gonna play tonight
S'ladyluck's right by your side

Gonna do this one more time
hit me again and let it ride

Still nothing on a lyric search though.
