Does anyone know the name of this song? its the song that usually plays during the commercials for it.

Trying to figure out what the opening song is when Hustle and Flow is when starts? It's kind of like an soul/blues song. I thought it was Jimi Hendrix at first but dunno about that.

It was in the opening scene of the film when DJay was driving with girl with blonde hair. It was also, in the begining of the trailer. It sounds like a blues/jazz song with a heavy bass.

Here is the soundtrack listing: (according to amazon)

Hustle & Flow is a great movie with great music. During the opening credits - after DJay's dog speech - this awesome blues song starts playing. It's not on the soundtrack and I had a hell of a time trying to find out what it was, but I did. And I felt that information needed to be shared, even if no one has explicitly asked for it yet.

Buddy Guy - Baby, Please Don't Leave Me, off of the album Sweet Tea.

You are SO welcome.

Does anyone know the name of the song that plays when Djay goes into his "Mode" Its got a real hard beat and plays several times during the movie. Most notable is during the bar scene when he tells skinny how he fell off.
