I *think* this is a new commercial because I haven't seen it before. I only got the end of it, but it was remaking a girl's bedroom, painting it blue with a rainbow and bringing in lots of plastic accessories or white and clear stuff.

The music had a female singing, with poppy up-beat.

I didn't catch any of the lyrics and have been waiting to see it again but haven't yet and I did a search for it here but didn't find anything.

im taking a guess i know this song was used in a target commercial before. is it Say Something New by The Concretes

I know which one you're talking about, it's not the "Say Something New" one. I think it's a brand new commercial, and it shows people redecorating a room. I didn't catch any of the lyrics either, but it was a poppy song by a female artist.

These lyrics match, however, this is a WAG. Lila McCann "Changing Faces"

(Lila McCann/Mark Spiro)
At first I didn't understand when she walked through the door
You let go of my hand and then I knew there must be more
I tried to tell myself that you were only friends
But your eyes betrayed the smile you gave
And I knew right there and then
You were changing faces
Right before my eyes
One for her and one for me
And then I realized
Changing faces
That moment I was sure
I'd be changing places with her
Please don't introduce me, don't be so polite
Tomorrow I'll get over you if I just get through tonight
I don't think I can stand it while she's standing over there
If you just want someone on your arm
Then she's the one to wear
You were changing faces
Right before my eyes
One for her and one for me
And then I realized
Changing faces
That moment I was sure
I'd be changing places with her
I think I'm gonna walk away
Head right for the door
Maybe I should stay and fight
But look what I'd be fighting for
I wanted so much more
Changing faces
That moment I was sure
While you were changing faces
I'd be changing places with her
Changing faces
The look that did you in
One for her and one for me
Now I can't go back again
Changing faces
That moment I was sure
I'd be changing places with her
Changing faces
Right before my eyes
One for her and one for me
Neither one I recognized
Changing faces
That moment I was sure
I'd be changing places with her

*bump*
The commercial was just on again and I now I really want to know.

And it's NOT the old "Say Something New" commercial or "1234" by Feist (because I already own that song and its not the same one)

who puts the green check on the thread? I was excited to see it was answered but I agree it isn't!!!

Hello there,

Well, I too NEEDED to know the song, so I went as far as actually e-mailing Target. I mean, if they're using music at least they can openly give credit, no?
Sorry for the disappointment, but the reply went something like this...

"It's great to hear you liked our newest commercial Brave New Dorm and want to
learn more about the music we featured.

I'm sorry for any disappointment, but the music in this ad is an original piece
and isn't available for sale. It was performed by studio musicians and made
exclusively for Target and this ad.

Have questions or want more information about our stores, products or service?
Give us a call at (800) 440-0680. You can also check with a team member at the
Guest Services Desk of your local Target store, or visit us on Target.com.
Either way, we're here to help!"

It was great that they actually responded, though!
But as it said, that song is exclusively for the commercial only.

Hope this helped!

Here is the ad on YouTube if the other link isn't working for you:
