Hello . does anyone know the artist that does movin on up . its the car commercial . id be greatful

I don't know if the car ad is a cover of Movin' On Up. The original was performed by Ja'net Du Bois and a choir for backup vocals. This version is easily found and is also known as The Jeffersons Theme Song.
 
yes it is a cover . its more of a r&b type version . like a BeYonce sound .
 
I found another source which indicates that the ad is for Mercedes. The singer's name is Cheri Davis. It further states that the cover was made exclusively for the ad and is not available for release to the public.
