this commercial is about the new dove one that is about how dove gave 30 digital cameras to 30 girls. Please help!! preciate it!

I'm looking for this one too. I know one lyrics goes, "i'm the lucky one"

it's a guy singing a kind of folky song. acoustic i do believe

"Sweet Lorraine" by Frank Sinatra?

When it's raining I don't miss the sun
'Cause it's in my sweetie's smile
Just think that I'm the lucky one
Who will lead her down the aisle

I found out another lyric just now, it goes "prettier than all the girly girls in magazines"

I don't think it's frank sinatra

no definitely not frank sinatra it does have acoustic and the voice is kinda raspy but high

You can see the video HERE.

The lyrics go:

In your eyes I do somersaults and cartwheels in the air
I’m a Master of disguise
You are prettier than all the girly girls in magazines
Your smile is like the sun
I’m the lucking one

It sounds like Jack Johnson to me...I did some googling for those lyrics and came up with nada...hopefully someone can help us out...

It's def. not Jack Johnson.

Bleh. This is bothering me, i want to know what song this is

I just emailed Dove and asked them. I'll let you know if/when/what they reply.

It sounds A LOT like Matt Costa. The song may have been published privately for Dove, so it could just be in their music warehouse. The lyrics are almost impossible to put a title and artist too.

i was just about to post for this! I've been searching the lyrics in dif. combos all day....sigh...

Sounds kinda like Simon & Garfunkel and Jack Johnson if one were covering the other, but I'm sure it's none of them...

Dove emailed me back:

My email to them:

Hi There

I'm just wondering who sings the song in the "Through their eyes -30
girls 30 cameras" video/commercial?

It's a great song and I'm hoping it is or will be commercially available
(similar to Layah Jane's versin of True Color's which you've also used).

Thanks
Kat

Their answer:

Hi Kat,

Thank you for writing!

The Pro Age advertising campaign is about celebrating women over the age
of 50 and widening the definition of beauty to show that real beauty has
no age limit. Our goal was to feature beautiful women as they really are
- with self-confidence, independence, and individual beauty.

The artist's name, who also created the music for the Dove Pro Age
commercial, is Pepe Romero. You may purchase his CD online or in major
music stores. (Here's the link for iTunes)

I think they messed it up so I'm going to email them back. They music in the ProAge commercial is definitely Pepe Romero - spanish guitar...the 30 girls commercial does NOT sound the same to me...out I go again...

I have an answer to your question!!

The artist is Nick Zubeck and he is a genius!!

You won't be able to find that song online... www.nickzubeck.com
All his other songs are equally as beautiful and moreso!

I assure you 100% that he is the mastermind behind "The Lucky one".

So that website takes you to his MySpace page, where you can sample some of his music.

The voice in the ad, vs. his voice (from the songs on myspace) don't sound the same to me. As much as I hope it's true so that we have an answer, I did send him a message on myspace to get it straight from the horse's mouth (so to speak) one way or the other.

I'll let you know if (1) Dove emails me back again and (2) if Nick emails me about this.

Many thanks iamkgb, I was looking for too ;)

CONFIRMED!

By Nick Zubeck himself:

Hi Kat,

Thanks so much for tracking me down! That is indeed my song in that commercial. It has never been released, but does exist as a full-length track(it was actually a Valentine's present for an ex-girlfriend!).

If you're interested in hearing more of my stuff, I do have a full-length cd available, that you can buy directly from me through the mail, or in digital format from www.zunior.com. Just let me know.

Thanks again for the interest!
All the best,
Nick

And Dove emailed me back as well:

Hi Kat,

We do apologize for the confusion in the last email responce. The song you are looking for is "In Your Eyes" (Right This Second) by Nick Zubeck. Is the song featured in our Dove Through her eyes behind the lens video.

Thank you for your interest.
