sup y'all, i can't remember the words to the song, but i know its an oldy and its on a laundry detergent commercial where this couple is like "mad" at each other and then they lie down in bed facing away from each other and the announcer on the commercial says something like "you just can't stay mad with the scents of..such and such laundry detergent" and it shows the couple turn around and smile at each other..its the new detergent like gentle sents or something..purple jug. help me out..thanks!
 
I know you're refering to the Downy Simple Pleasures ad for their Lavender/Vanilla scent, but I can't seem to find the song anywhere either. Well, hopefully I'll see the ad again soon and make out some of the lyrics and search on it. Sorry! :(
 
In the commercial, a couple is making the bed, and there's indication that they fought before. When laying in bed, they're smelling their sheets, then turn to each other and cuddle.

The song sorta goes, "I'm so in love with you....you, make me feel....."

What song is this?!

Yeah yeah :rolleyes: I has reading 2 threads at the same time and got Cat Power stuck in my holiday-entrenched mind B)
 
It starts out with horns and then a soulful man starts singing with a prolonged "yoouuuuuu" which then becomes drowned out over the anouncer.
The commercial has a young couple on purple sheets and it says something along the lines of "can't go to bed angry"
I know i've heard it before which is bothering me.
Anyway, someone know the title?
