I'm looking for a song that is the commerical for "the wire" on HBO. I caught some of the lyrics: "walk with me, talk with me". It's rap music with hard beats. In the commerical, it should a lot of people on rooftops taking pictures of other people.

Anyone know of this song?

It was difficult to find, but I found this info on THE WIRE boards at HBO.

Great song, starts off with a drop of someone (sounds like Don Cheadle) saying "this isn't strange" or something similar a few times. As the song progresses, it sounds like Curtis Mayfield... Anyone know the song or the ad?

In case you are wondering what the song is in the ad for the current season of "The Wire."

It is "Ball of Confusion" by the Temptations.

The Wire - HBO campaign commercial track?

Hi everyone,

I'm desperately looking to source a track used in the 2003 promotional campaign HBO's THE WIRE season two. The track prominently drives the back end of the season promo -

- and also opens the Complete Second Season DVD promo - http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi4043047193/ .

This is a great commercial track I've been trying to identify forever. Any help is greatly appreciated.
