Windows 98

There is a piece of music I've heard twice - once in promos for ADV Films upcoming anime releases, and another time in the old promos for Windows 98 that were made to resemble movie-theatre previews, where the Microsoft logo replaces the ratings-icon on the green-screen before the promo begins (if anyone has a VHS version of the Leslie Nielsen film "Wrongfully Accused", it's on there).

It's a kind of upbeat piece involving electric bass and synthesizers, but for the life of me, I have no idea about a name or artist. I love the song, but don't wanna wear out my anime tapes rewinding the promos to hear it...

I know it's a blind shot in the dark, but can anyone help with my search?

is the ad you are talking about the music is also the main theme for 1999's Starship Troopers: the Roughneck Chronicles.

I've been looking for the song I THINK we're talking about here for as long as I can remember.
