I would like to know the title of the song that is used in the Pedigree 'Healthy Start' dog food commercial.

It shows a whole bunch of different kinds of tiny puppies playing together and the words to the music in the background are something like this:

"Mary, won't you come out and play with me today. Mary, repeat.

Based upon the lyrics, google has a few suggestions:
"Toy Soldiers" by Martika Amazon
"Strange Jane" by the Thompson Twins Amazon

I'm pretty sure it's not "Toy Soldiers", but I'll look into the Thompson Twins. It didn't sound like them either, but maybe it's a remake. Thanks for the info.

Based on prior knowledge of both Martika and Thompson Twins (and knowledge of both songs as well), I can say without a doubt that the song from the Pedigree commerical is neither of those.

Wishful thinking, as I probably have old cassettes of both those songs somewhere...

Please keep looking though, I am obsessed with this song!
