I've seen this commerical only twice and both times was during the Academy Awards. It's an advertisement for all of the General Motors brands of cars and it has a guy rapping about the diffrence between music, technology and style then and now and the music includes samples from Betty Wright's "Mr. Big Stuff" if anybody can idenify this song for me I'd be most appreciative. Thanks.

I know that song by Everclear and am pretty sure that ain't it.

Any other guesses?

I just re-checked that tune by Everclear (AM Radio) and it deifinitely is not the song used in this new GM commercial.

The first post was right when stated you can hear a snippet of Mr. Big Stuff.

Great tune -- any help much appreciated!

If you listened to Everclear - "AM Radio" from the beginning you would recognize it is totally sampling "Mr. Big Stuff" and it is the song in the GM TV Spot with clips from the 1950's - today.
