Hi
I am totally new at this. I love film music, and trailer music.... but I do not have a clue where I can buy trailer music. Are there CD:s out there or something.... sorry for the obvious and stupid question to you guys

Well Scully, CD Compilations of trailer music, I really doubt it. But if the forum can identify the song and artist you can just buy or download the song.

I highly recomend these compilations. I bet some of the songs were used in spaghetti western trailers. Some good Luis Bacalov and Ennio Morricone work.

Spaghetti Westerns, Volume One (Film Score Compilation) [SOUNDTRACK]
http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000000PIW/ad...s-20/ref=nosim/

Spaghetti Westerns, Volume Two (Film Score Compilation) [SOUNDTRACK]
http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000000PJ0/ad...s-20/ref=nosim/

Music from Italian Westerns [IMPORT]
http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000028042/ad...s-20/ref=nosim/

But now that I think about it, I'm guessing that you probably aren't looking for spaghetti western trailer music. Hmm. I don't think I've seen any trailer music compilations either. I would just advise you to find a composer to your liking and get some of his or her compilations.

Try looking up Immediate Music, they do a lot of good action-y type stuff, and their website has a lot of their songs to listen to. I'm sure you could also find their songs on this vast intertron somewhere without a problem :)

WOW thanks you all, this information has been of great help!! I already found some of my favorite tunes, I wanted to hear!! :D :D

Hell Everyone,

I just want to let it be known the the Position Music CD by James Dooley is now on iTunes, for anyone who wasn't aware.

It includes the famous track "Trinity" used in the final trailer of Spiderman 3.

I'm just wondering i am looking to buy some music. But what are the best music for trailers which have high dramatic points then come to a hault and make the film look dramatic just like requiem for a tower.

Thank =]

i have been looking for alot of dramatic pieces aswell, so far, i got the following:

O Fortuna - Mozart
Suicide Mission - Wild Whirled
Edward Scissorhands - The Grand Finale - Danny Elfman
Just Like You Imagined - Nine Inch Nails
1812 Overture - Tchaikovsky

still looking for more, but those ones are pretty good :)

sorry for the double post, cant edit, anyway wanted to add this to the list:

Escape - Craig Armstrong

Also, some songs from the video game Halo, are pretty intense :D
